2019: A Special Lecture of Dr. Bajarang Lal Gupta (Ex. Professor of Economics, Delhi University) on “A New Paradigm of Development” was organised by the Department on 25th September 2019.
2019: A Special Lecture of Shri. Arif Mohammad Khan(Former Union Minister and Presently Honorable Governor of Kerala State) on “Understanding Secularism in India” was organised by the Department on 10thAugust 2019.
2017: Three-Day International Conference on “Public Policy and Administration: Issues and Concerns” was organised by the Department on 25th to 27thMarch 2017.
2016: One Day National Workshop on “India’s New Urban Agenda” was organised by the Department on 10th August 2016.Shri. Nikhil Kumar(Former Governor of Kerala State) was the key note speaker on the theme.
2016: ICSSR sponsored Two-Day National Seminar on “Recent Trends in Administrative Theory and Governance” was organised by the Department on 21-22March 2016.
2012: Two-Day National Seminar on “Consumer, Consumerism and Consumer Welfare: Issues and Concerns” was organised by the Department and The Centre for Consumer Studies, IIPAon 22-23 December 2012.
The Nagpur University was established on 4th August, 1923 with six affiliated colleges and 927 students. During 1947, the number of students increased to about 9000 accompanied by the improvement and diversification of curricula and expansion in the range of subjects.
