The Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC, Formely known as University Library) has taken membership of Sugamya Pustakalaya: An Online Library for Blind and Print Disabled. To avail the facility of Sugamya Pustakalaya users have to visit either the Knowledge Resource Centres situated at Ramdaspeth, Nagpur otherwise University Campus, Amravati Road Nagpur with their disability certificate. Users will be registered as an 'end user' only through Knowledge Resource Centre. After registration ID number and password will be provided to the user for accessing the collections of Sugamya Pustakalaya. The Nagpur University was established on 4th August, 1923 with six affiliated colleges and 927 students. During 1947, the number of students increased to about 9000 accompanied by the improvement and diversification of curricula and expansion in the range of subjects.
