Application Form
- Application forms for admission to the hostel along with prospectus can be obtained from the Hostel Office during the office working hours on submission of Rs. 10/- at the counter of university Income section, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Educational Campus, RTMNU, Nagpur.
- All applications filled by students and forwarded by the Head of the respected Department should be submitted to the Hostel office along with the receipt of Rs. 25/- as registration fee paid at the counter of university Income section, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Educational Campus, RTMNU, Nagpur.
- Applicant must submit all the relevant documents along with the application form as stated in the application form and prospectus. Incomplete applications will not be considered for admission and shall be rejected.
Documents / Certificates to be attached with the application
- Filled application form duly certified by Head of the concerned Department/ College/Director.
- Receipt of application fee Rs. 10/- ; Receipt of Registration Fee Rs. 25/-
- All Marks sheets of previous examinations passed
- Caste certificate and validity/ Non Creamy layer certificate whichever is applicable
- Medical Fitness certificate from the General Surgeon
- Parents undertaking as per format provided in the application form
- Three passport size photographs out of which one has to be pasted on the application form duly attested by the Head/Principal/ Director.
- Three self addressed envelops affixed with postage stamps of Rs. 5/-
Admission Rules
- Admission to the hostel is subject to admission of the student to the full time course offered by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur
- Admission to the hostel is subject to the availability of Seats and overall performance (Personal Interview) of the student.
- Hostel session shall commence each year on 1st July and end on 30th April.
- The applicant will be asked to appear for the Interview if he his application is found correct in all respects after the scrutiny.
- Admission of the student shall be confirmed only after the personal interview and if he is fit to be admitted in the hostel by the Warden.
- The Warden can refuse any admission without giving any reason to the applicant.
- Any request, force , canvassing or recommendations to get admission in the hostel are liable to be reject application
- On admission in the hostel the student has to pay the hostel fee in full within stipulated time.
- The hostel admission fee is Rs. 2000/- (Rs. Two thousand only) for two seated room which should be deposited at counter of university Income section, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Educational Campus, RTMNU, Nagpur.
- The Mess deposit amount is Rs. 2000/- (Rs. Two Thousand only) which should be deposited at Wardens Account at the time of admission. The amount of mess deposit can be adjusted against the mess bill of last month.
- After getting admission in the hostel, the student has to report to the Warden with luggage (Electric Tube Light, Bucket, Lock, Bedding, dustbin etc.) during office hours only.
- Orientation lecture for first year students will be arranged after admission. The hostel Warden will preside over the function. The parents can also attend the same.

HOSTEL COMMITTEES:
STUDENT DEVELOPMENT CELL (SDC)
- The committee will look after any matter of the hostel students
- The committee will try to resolve the student grievances
- The committee will take the due care of hostel residents
ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE (ARC)
- The committee will look after any matter of ragging of new students in the students in hostel campus if any.
- The members are required to inform the Warden immediately regarding the matter of ragging.
- The new students are required to inform the Warden or any of the members if ragging happens.
DISCIPLINE COMMIITTEE
- To maintain discipline among the students.
- To maintain the hostel campus neat & Clean
- Avoid any kind of the violence in the hostel
- Maintain peace and silence during examination period
- Maintain harmony and brotherhood among the students
MESS COMMITTEE
- To take care of the quality of the food
- Finalization of the menu from time to time
- To take care of the student’s health
DISCIPLINARY RULES
- Inmates of the students should stay only in the rooms allotted to them by the Warden. They should not interchange the rooms themselves, or shift to another room without the permission of the Warden.
- Inmates of the Hostel should not entertain any guest or outsider in their rooms.
- Inmates should not leave the station without the permission of the warden
- Inmates are responsible for the damage of furniture and fittings provided to them. They are expected to check the pre damaged if any prior to occupy the room.
- Inmates are not allowed to use any Electrical appliances like Heaters, table fans, Speakers etc.
- Switch off fan, light or any electrical appliances as and when the students leave the room foe more than 10 minutes
- Necessary/ available facilities will be provided to the resident students of the hostel. If any student is not satisfied with such facilities are required to vacate the room.
- Every student has to Switch Off Water Heater (i.e. Geezer) and close Water Tap after use.
- As Dhobi is available in the hostel, washing of clothes except innerwear is allowed from him.
- Inmates should not make mark on the walls, doors and Windows by writing or pasting posters and calendars etc.
- Students found consuming intoxicants will be liable to serious punishments
- Inmates should vacate and handover the furniture and fixtures in the rooms in good condition at the time of leaving the hostel in summer vacation.
- Ragging is strictly prohibited. Any student found in ragging will be expelled from the hostel as per the rules stipulated by the government.
- Every student shall carry his Identity Card and shall produce whenever asked for.
- Every student should keep the rooms neat and clean.
- Maintain Silence and Peace in the hostel.
- Organization of functions and celebrations are not allowed.
- Unnecessary luggage is not allowed in the room.
- Attendance in National or any other hostel function is compulsory.
- If any student violates the above rules, he may be punished, fined or expelled from the hostel.
