Research Activities:
The Department is involved in conducting various Research works in the form of Dissertation, Projects Reports, PhD Thesis, Major/Minor Projects etc.The faculties of the department are continuously involved in the Research through paper publications in reputed Journals& Periodicals and paper presentations in various National and International Seminars and Conferences.
The Department of Public Administration & LSG is the Research Centre since its inception. It is instrumental in providing assistance to Research Scholars for completing their PhD and undertaking research. The area of ongoing research work covers a very wide arena including Rural Development, Good Governance, Panchayati Raj and Urban Local Bodies, Financial Institutions, Industries, Public Sector Industries, Women’s Empowerment, Consumer Protection, Social Governance, Environment Protection, Policy analysis, Disaster Management, Administrative Culture, Bureaucracy, Population Studies, Administrative Reforms, Educational Governance etc.Theyare dealt in depth and the research conducted is of practical utility to the Government. In many cases the Government of Maharashtra has taken the note of the suggestions.
