Hands on Training Rapid Prototyping and 3D Printing (28th March 2019)
RTMNU Incubation Center organized the one-day workshop for students, faculty and individuals on March 28th 2019 at Nagpur University. The workshop covered talks and hands on experience on rapid prototyping and 3D Printing by eminent speakers from Fab Lab Nagpur and 3DP Academy. Total number of participants restricted to be 50 so that every individuals can get the hands on experience. Emphasized the need and importance of this workshop and Incubation Center, Center appealed the students and researchers to come forward with new ideas and be a part of incubation centre.
Robotics Conclave at Railway School, Dogargargh: 12th April 2019
The Robotics Conclave was arranged in the Dongargargh Railway School, Ranjandgaon, Chhattisgarh on 12th April 2019 in association with South East Railway and Global Robotics, Nagpur. It was its first kind of Conclave arranged the that school where students have been trained in on making robots on first day and allow them to show and explain to other school participants in Conclave. Total six schools in the Dongargargh has visited conclave with total number of visitors around 1200.
Seminar/Roadshow on BIRAC BIG Grant for Students, Faculty, innovators and start-ups (8th July 2019)
Seminar/ Roadshow as an awareness program regarding the opportunity and benefits of BIG (Biotechnology Ignition Grant) by BIRAC, Dpt. Of Science and Technology in Association with Sine, Incubation Center, IIT Powai on July 6th 2019 at Nagpur University. The main objective of this drive is to explore the opportunities and benefits of Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) by BIRAC, Dept. of Science and Technology, which supports start-ups and individuals with entrepreneurial mindset to scale their idea to proof of concept. BIG provides INR 5 Million along with mentorship to best in class ideas. This program is open for doctors, innovators, students, Scientist, academicians and another who finds interest in the grant.
The Nagpur University was established on 4th August, 1923 with six affiliated colleges and 927 students. During 1947, the number of students increased to about 9000 accompanied by the improvement and diversification of curricula and expansion in the range of subjects. The expansion of library and sports facilities occurred during these years for the intellectual and physical well being of the students...
