- UGC SAP-DRS II (Coordinator: Prof. A. M. Pophare, Deputy Co-ordinator: Dr. Sumedh K. Humane), Total Outlay: 1 Crore 07 Lacs (For five years i.e.01 April 2016 – 31st March 2021).
Individual Major Research Projects:
- Bandana Samant (P.I.) and D. M. Mohabey (Co-PI) are working on Ministry of Earth Science (MoES), New Delhi sponsored rproject entitled “Palynoflora, reptilian tetrapods and clay minerals of sediments associated with Deccan Continental Flood Basalts of the Malwa Group, Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh: a biotic response to climatic changes” with a total outlay of Rs. 76,19,090/- (2016-ongoing).
- Randive, K. R. (P.I.) is working onSERB. New Delhi sponsored project titled “Mineralogy, Petrography and Geochemical investigations for Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization in the Phenai Mata Igneous Complex, Deccan Large Igneous Province, Gujarat, India” with a total outlay of Rs. 34,93,760/- (2018-ongoing).

- Dr Samaya, S. Humane (P.I.) and Dr. Sumedh K. Humane, (Co- P.I.)“Integrated study of the major lakes of Gondia District, Maharashtra using sedimentary diatoms, geochemistry, hydrochemistry and sediment dating to assess the trophic status and paleoclimate” Research Project funded by University Grant’s Commission (UGC) Project, Rs : 9.91 lakhs (July 2012 to July, 2015).
