Department of Commerce with co-ordination of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) Uttrakhand organised Insight; A Career Alignment Test for B.Com-III &B.A.III. Students by CEO, Shri. Ritesh Meshram. This test introduced by UPES for students to help them to understand a variety of personal attributes i.e. Emotional Quotient, Orientation Style, interest aptitude and personality and to help students for choosing career options and work environment Dr. Narendra Bagde, Lecturer of Mr. Madhukar Wasnik People Welfare College give information about different aspects of skill development. Programme is conducted by HOD Dr. Indu Mamtani under the guidance of Principal Dr. Shraddha Anilkumar and support of Dr. Tanuja Rajput.

INTERCOLLEGIATE MUSIC COMPETITION 2019-20

Dayanand Arya Kanya Mahavidyalaya has organised “Bhakti Geet” competition in collaboration with Inner wheel organisation, in the memory of “Milestone” of the Institution Shri Chetram Lalwani. Smt Deepa Lalwani, Secretary was chief guest & the sponsor of the competition. Arya Vidhya Sabha’s Vice-President Shri Ghanshyamdas Kukreja & Shri Dr. Abhimanyu Kukreja were graced the programme, congratulate all students for their efforts and also encourage them to participate in upcoming events. Dr. Shraddha Anilkumar addressed the students saying “I am glad to see that students of various colleges took initiative in participating in competition and that the spirit of spiritualism is alive in them. 14 colleges have participated in the competition.

Guest of Honour, Shri. Mahesh Anandani, Social worker and businessman, blessed the students for a bright and successful future. Shri Ashok Kriplani, President, Arya Vidya Sabha, Shri Ghanshyamdas Kukreja, Vice President, Smt. Deepa Lalwani, Secretary, Shri. Bhushan Khubchandani, Treasurer, felicitated the guests with shawl, Satyarth Prakash, shriphal, sapling and mementoes.

Principal, Dr. Shraddha Anilkumar, read out the college annual report. Meritorious students were felicitated by the guests. Patriotic songs and dances presented by the students enthralled the audience. The vote of thanks was proposed by Secretary of Arya Vidhya Sabha, Smt. Deepa Lalwani.

Two Day Multidisciplinary workshop on "Intellectual Property Rights in the Present Academic Scenario"

A Two Day Multidisciplinary National Workshop On “Relevance of IPR in the Present Academic Scenario” was organised on 27th -28th April 2019 at Dayanand Arya Kanya Mahavidyalya. The workshop was organised in collaboration with nine colleges of Nagpur, 1) Yashoda Girl’s Arts & Commerce College , 2) Renuka College, 3) Principal Annarao Kalode Mahavidyalya , 4) Bar. Sheshrao Wankhede Arts & Commerce College, 5) Bar. Sheshrao Wankhede Mahavidyalya, 6) Dr. M. K. Umathe College, 7) Women’s College of Arts & Commerce, 8) Matru Sewa Sangh Institute of Social Work .

Intellectual Property Right (IPR) plays a fundamental role in enhancing the socio-economic wealth of the country. With the change in the society it is important to be familiar with the relevance of IPR. Intellectual property plays an important role in providing a competitive edge to an organization. The intangible assets of an organization - such as inventions, brands, designs and other creative and innovative products are today, often more valuable than its physical assets. Keeping this in mind, this Intellectual Property Rights Policy Document seeks to provide guidance to academic and non-academic staff, students and scholars.

The workshop was inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp by the chief guest Dr. Bababrao Taywade, Ex-Principal , Dhanwate National College, Dr. Prabhuji Deshpande, Ex-President, Vidyapeeth Shikshan Manch, Nagpur. Dr Pankaj Borkar, Dy. Controller of RGNIIPM, Arya Vidya Sabha Members, Principal of all colleges.

The chief guest Dr. Babanrao Taywade expressed his views on IPR and stressed its importance in academic field. Dr Prabhuji Deshpande, Ex-President, Vidyapeeth Shikshan Manch spoke on use of IPR in social and academic content. Dr. Pankaj Borkar spoke on patent of designs, research work, trademark and its relevance in academic section.

Mr. Ashokkumar Kriplani president of Arya Vidya Sabha expressed his views on the workshop and appreciated the mega collaboration of the college workshop.

Principal Dr. Shraddha Anilkumar were worked tirelessly by creating a mega cluster of colleges in history of RTMNU academic arena.

Sivaswaroop urged the students to prove to be worthy of being born Indians, because one day the whole world will resemble India. Guest of Honour, Shri. Bhushan Wadhwani, of Vanwari Kalyan Ashram blessed the students for a bright and successful future. Shri Ghanshyamdas Kukreja, President, Arya Vidya Sabha, Smt. Deepa Lalwani, Secretary, Shri. WORLD POPULATION DAY

NSS Dept Dayanand Arya Kanya Mahavidyalaya had organized a programme on 11th July 2018 on account of 'WORLD POPULATION DAY' in the Seminar Hall. Dr. Vivek Chauhan, professor of Environmental studies PWS College, Nagpur and Dr. Sushant Chimankar were was guest of honour Dr. Vivek Chauhan addressed the students on the topic ‘Overpopulation and its impact on Environment’. Dr. Shraddha Naidu, officiating principal welcomed the guests as well as guided the students. Prof. Babita Thool, N.S.S. Officer compared the programme. Prof. Varsha Agarkar proposed Vote – of – thanks. Dr. Meena Balpande worked hard for the success of the programme. The programme ended with National Anthem.

Dayanand Arya Kanya Mahavidyalaya Senior as well as Junior college, Jaripatka has jointly organized 4th INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY with enthusiastically in the college on 21st June, 2018 under the guidance of Secretary Mrs. DEEPA LALWANI, College officiating Principal DR. SHRADDHA ANILKUMAR, TEJINDRA VENNUGOPAL and yogacharya KEDARJI JOSHI.

The Students, Teaching and Non-Teaching staff together participated in Yoga by doing Vajrasan, Tadasan, Bhramari, Onkar Jap, Padmasan, Nadribhodhan, Anulom Vilom etc.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT 2019

Students of Dayanand Arya Kanya Mahavidyalaya gained knowledge about various processing units at two factories namely Lords Wear Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturer of readymade Garments and Shivam Food Products Ltd., a Manufacrer of Parle G Biscuits. Shri Ajay Petkar, Coordinator & HR Manager, Parle G elaborated the students about various process at the factory. Shri Mangesh, distributor Manager & Staff of Lords Wear Pvt. Ltd., calmly answered all the questions raised by the students during the visit. Visit was organized by Dr. Indu Mamtani and Dr. Tanuja Rajput in the guidance of Principal Dr. Shraddha Anilkumar.
